Manatee Viewing Center Apollo Beach, Florida

Good day! Today The Fun family visited the Manatee viewing center at the power plant in Apollo beach, Florida. While the weather was dreary the adventure was not. Upon arrival the main parking area was full. We were directed to the over flow parking not far away; about a 45 minute walk round trip. The walking path was well marked. We had fun walking, viewing and collecting shells along the way. (Maybe that's why it takes 45 minutes lol). The observation area was very busy. However, we were still able to get great pics and complete our video for our you tube channel; which you can find by searching The Fun family or Connie Ulman. There were hundreds of manatee and was told there can be up to three hundred at a time. While all the signs stated there are no bathrooms, no food and no drinks there actually were. Seeing as we arrived at 3 pm we only had an hour to explore. We plan to return when we have more time because we did not get to see everything. If ever in the area I encourage you to visit the Manatee Viewing Center. As of now the parking and admission is FREE! Doesn't get any better than that. God bless and have a great adventure.
